Coatings
The HiPIMS process gives HPP unparalleled coating adhesion. The high hardness, toughness, and oxidation temperature of HPP makes it ideal for machining hardened steels, superalloys, and other difficult to machine materials under either wet or dry conditions. Formally known as Hi-Pulse Power.
HPH perfectly combines the high temperature of a silicon-enhanced coating with the excellent adhesion of HiPIMS technology. The premium HPH coating demonstrates the superior combination of hardness and adhesion especially in hard machining of moulds & dies and machining high-alloy stainless steels for high temperature applications such as for turbines, the chemical industry or exhaust gas turbochargers. The smooth droplet-free surface ensures optimum surface quality and decreases the temperature in the cutting zone by reducing friction. Formally known as Hi-Pulse Hard (HARDLOX)
A hard coating with a low coefficient of friction, recommended for high silicon aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, magnesium alloys, no lead brass, bronze and copper alloys. Formally known as Aluspeed.
Magnetron sputtering technology gives HTY a smooth surface. The hardness and oxidation temperature of this coating allows it to excel in the machining of low carbon and stainless steels. Formally known as Super Alt.
